"Rolling on the River" Jan. 14-17, 2010 New Orleans, LA Registration is now OPEN!
http://www.pardi-gras.com
What is Pardi-Gras? Started in November, 1997, this annual event has been attracting revelers from around the country for a "tropical party" ever since. It was moved from November to January in the third year, and has remained there since. The year 2010 will mark the 13th annual rendition of Pardi-Gras.
Pardi-Gras heavily caters to a special group of people known as "Parrot Heads". That nickname refers to their love of singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett's music, and lifestyle. The event is open to anyone, however, and roughly 1/3 of the attendees of Pardi-Gras have traditionally been folks who just like the tropical atmosphere and music that Pardi-Gras embodies. You don't have to be a member of any formal group to participate in Pardi-Gras.
Over the years, Pardi-Gras has evolved into a four day event. The party features plenty of live music, as well as other fun activities unique to the French Quarter. Browsing through pictures of previous years' events will give you a pretty clear picture of what Pardi-Gras is all about.
We invite you to join us next January, in New Orleans, for Pardi-Gras 2010. Come find out why we call it, "The Ultimate French Quarter Party"!
